On top of an already busy Fall Tour Schedule, Damien Jurado has just announced a few dates opening for a handful of Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) solo dates. These dates are all on the west coast as Gibbard hits the major tour stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. If you haven’t already made plans to, be sure to catch Jurado as he continues to tour in support his newest album Maraqopa, an underrated record in a year full of albums that just seem to slip beneath most peoples radar. Before sharing stages with Gibbard however, he hits the Bumbershoot and Hopscotch Festivals at the beginning of September and then heads out on a cross-country tour with Sharon Van Etten.
