Squadda B, of pioneering cloud rap duo Main Attrakionz, follows up 3rd Shift and last year’s The Wonderful World of Squadda B with a new full-length album, Evolver. Featuring longtime collaborator Dope G and Bay Area legend Del the Funkee Homosapien, all tracks on Evolver are produced by Squadda B himself.
Title track “Evolver” finds Del in an introspective bag, encouraging empathy and kindness over a trademark Squadda beat filled with chopped vocal samples. Elsewhere, Squadda unleashes thumping bass and dives into autobiographical raps on the fully-formed project.
