Yes, you read that right. Apparently, debuting his collaboration with West Coast Godfather Dr. Dre (“The Recipe”, if you’ve been living in seclusion) is just the beginning for rising Compton star Kendrick Lamar. It was more than reasonable to assume the recent Aftermath signee would have a few tracks in the bank with Dre, but K.Dot has blown those expectations to smithereens.
In an interview with Whoo Kid, Lamar explains that he’s recorded around thirty tracks with Dre. Yes, 30. Good Kid in a Mad City is going to be huge, could we have the next Doggystyle, the next Documentary, on our hands? If Lamar’s talent and previous efforts are any sign we very well might.
