Though we’ve already heard two tracks from the upcoming Santigold album, “Big Mouth” and “Disparate Youth,” and had already been given an album title for the effort, Master Of My Make Believe, until today we still didn’t know when exactly this album would be released. Well, uh, now we know.
Master Of My Make Believe will be put out by Downtown Records/Atlantic on May 1st. In support of this effort, we already know that Santigold will be appearing at SXSW, Coachella, Sasquatch, and as opener for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We’ll keep you posted when further details are known about the album, particularly producers, though we already confirm Switch and Buraka Som Sistema as appearing.
