Well, nearly two months into 2012 and we have yet to hear new music by Woods, a band that seems to produce some form of new material every calendar year. That is, until today, when Woods announced that they will be releasing a split LP with the band Amps For Christ. The release will contain four new songs from each group and one collaborative track, titled “From Oatmeal To Buttermilk” and available for download below.
In addition to this new offering (it will be self-titled in the name of both bands and released on April 17th via Shrimper), Woods will also hit the road for a tour that will take them from their home in the east to the deep south and back again, including a stop at Austin Psych Fest.
