Well, after a slow first couple weeks of the year, we are now starting to pick up with new album releases. Today, NPR First Listen has a number of intriguing new releases for people to give a spin, which we have included a couple for you below. First up is the debut solo release from The Hold Steady’s frontman Craig Finn. It is titled Clear Heart Full Eyes and it is out on January 24th via Vagrant.
We also have the second album from Swedish folk sisters First Aid Kit. The album is called The Lion’s Roar, is produced by Bright Eyes’ Mike Moggis, features a cameo from Conor Oberst, and will be released on January 24th on Wichita Records.
