Nearly a year after the passing of Trish Keenan, Broadcast bandmate James Cargill is working on a new Broadcast album, as well as a soundtrack for the Peter Strickland film Berberian Sound Studio, both of which will use vocals recorded before the death of Trish Keenan last January.
In an interview with Under The Radar, Cargill noted the following, “Trish left a lot of tapes, four-tracks and stuff, and I’ve been going through those. It’s difficult, and I’m connected to it at the same time. It’s wonderful, but I’m also felling a sense of loss.” As far as whether those will see the light of day, Cargill seems positive, saying “I think that would be a wonderful thing.”
