Late Night with Jimmy Fallon continued their particularly hot streak of amazing musical guests tonight with Portishead stopping by. Below, you can check out their web-exclusive recording of “Mysterons” below, and we’ll have the aired performance of “Chase The Tear” when it becomes available. Coinciding with this performance is Portishead’s announcement that they will be releasing “Chase The Tear” as a vinyl 12″, the first time the song has been available in this form. Backing the a-side will be a cover version of the tune by Doldrums. Fans’ first chance to get hold of a copy of the limited edition 12” vinyl release will be on Saturday October 8th when 200 signed copies will be available to buy at the XL Recordings stall at the Independent Label Market in New York. XL will then put out the 12″ worldwide on November 14th.
