CMJ, the annual NYC showcase for emerging artists taking place this year from October 18th-22nd, has announced their first round of artists and they already have a number of solid draws for your viewing pleasure. Jumping off the list at first glance are Neon Indian, EMA, Wild Flag, Zola Jesus, Talib Kweli, Handsome Furs, Portugal. The Man, Dum Dum Girls, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Class Actress, and many more.
Below we have the currently announced artists and stay tuned for lineup additions, as there will be tons. There is an image on the site that indicates Gang Gang Dance will also be playing, but they do not appear on the site’s list. Also, go here to attend.
