With three upcoming festival stops (Pitchfork, Pacific, and Outside Lands) and a massive headlining tour to follow, many expected Toro Y Moi to be supporting his acclaimed Underneath The Pine, which is less than six months old. And, I mean, he is. But, there’s more!
On September 13th, Toro Y Moi will release the five-song Freaking Out EP via Carpark, containing recently recorded material from a brief period of downtime between tours. Below we have our first taste of the effort in “Saturday Love”, an Alexander O’Neal & Cherrelle cover. Plus, fans at the aforementioned festivals will get a chance to hear the new songs before anyone else.
