With Watch The Throne currently the talk of the music world, Jay-Z had some interesting bits of news to drop at the listening party for his collaborative effort with Kanye West last night.
According to AllHipHop, Jay-Z is already two songs into his next solo album, his twelfth and first since 2009’s The Blueprint III.
“I know exactly the tone and the whole feel of the [next] album. Its different. Its not weird. They are really fucking good. I can tell you that,” Jay-Z is quoted to have said.
No word on when to expect the new Jay-Z album, but we know that he hopes to have Odd Future’s Frank Ocean appear on one or both of the new tracks.
