Guided By Voices’ Robert Pollard may have put to bed his most well-known band in favour of other musical pursuits, but his work ethic has never faltered. His current band Boston Spaceships released an album just last year and this year the band will release Let It Beard, a double album that can boast guest spots from the likes of Dinosaur Jr’s J Mascis, Wire’s Colin Newman, Dream Syndicate’s Steve Wynn, The Dirtbombs’ Mick Collins and his ex-Guided By Voices bandmate Mitch Mitchell.
