To think that Nirvana’s Nevermind is twenty-years old makes me feel pretty old. People in college right now weren’t even born when it came out! Think about that! Crazy!
Well, the new generation of music fans will get a chance to rediscover one of the most important albums of all time this September, when Nevermind will get a deluxe 20th anniversary reissue. The set will be a 4-CD/1-DVD package, featuring rarities, B-sides, and unreleased recordings. Also included are unspecified BBC radio appearances and an unreleased concert in its entirety on DVD. That’s a lot of Nirvana!
The set will hit the streets on September 19th on Universal, which also plans “various events and releases” throughout the year to commemorate the anniversary. More details on these “events” as they become known.
