It can be a backhanded compliment to call a record “surprisingly good,” but, well, that is how I feel about the new effort from Crystal Antlers, Two-Way Mirror. Not that I expected it to be bad, just that I didn’t really expect anything at all. Regardless, the effort is getting plenty of repeat plays on my iTunes and their first single, “Summer Solstice,” is only the tip of the iceberg on an album of consistently strong songs. But, this isn’t a review of their album, it is a post for their new music video, which is delightfully of-the-season, complete with ocean waves, a loving couple, and classic cars. Enjoy it as you prepare for the warm months ahead.
