Tonight, at the Getty, Avi Buffalo will perform a free set of all new material, which we can only assume will be included on his yet-to-be-announced follow-up to last year’s self-titled debut. Well, this may be a clue to what he will perform tonight, and to what the the new material will sound like, as four songs have surfaced that appear to be new tunes. The videos feature main-man Avi Zahner-Isenberg performing solo, hitting some wrong notes, and singing some sloppily lovely melodies, all while wearing some strange-ass face paint and a mask on his head. And while it is enjoyable enough to watch, part of me is a little worried about the guy.
