Portugal. The Man, the Portland rockers who seemed to have gained popularity out of nowhere, will try to keep the train rolling this July with the release of In The Mountain In The Cloud. Their debut for Atlantic Records, the album is produced by John Hill, who has previously worked with Santigold and M.I.A. This is the band’s sixth full-length, which kind of means they didn’t come out of nowhere. My bad.
Check out a cut from the record, titled “Got It All (This Can’t Be Living Now),” which kind of has a TV On The Radio meets the Pacific Northwest vibe to it. Full track listing is also below. In The Mountain In The Cloud will be out on July 19th.
