Figurines’ album Skeleton is one of my all-time favorite records. Period. After a four-year absence and near-breakup, the Danish band is returning with a self-titled album with label The Control Group on 4/12, and, via Stereogum, we have the first single, “New Colors.”
This cut finds the band admitting “they’ll never be the same.” As if we couldn’t tell the second the synth opened the song. But change is good, right? As long as it is as catchy as this song, sure. Listen and download below.
