Obits’ “Shift Operator” sounds like it is from another time — the 90’s. Not the same decade that brought us Bush and Seven Mary Three, but, rather, the same decade that brought us Pavement and Built To Spill. Yeah, “Shift Operator” has a “classic” indie sound that might seem dated to some, but, to me at least, feels like home.
The cut is from their March 29th album Moody, Standard and Poor (it’s like they know me) and is available below to listen to or for keepsies! Thanks Sub Pop!
