Update: More tour dates announced.
Lauryn Hill’s random-as-hell career continues to be random-as-hell. After performing at Rock The Bells over the summer and a scattering of benefit concerts afterward, the “comeback” that the hip hop media practically begged for seems to be resurging once again. Though not completely as initially expected.
Hill was slated to play Vermont’s Higher Grounds on December 15th, but then rescheduled to the 17th and finally postponed indefinitely. So while this made it look like Hill wasn’t going to be hitting the Northeast up for some winter shows, Hill has now announced concerts in New York and Massachusetts, but nothing in Vermont. Poor Vermont. Perpetually forgotten by the music industry, and most everyone else as well.
Here are the current tour dates, which leads one to believe that Ms. Hill is planning on going out for New Years, rather than working. Or just waiting for the best offer. (via Brooklyn Vegan)
