Moogfest, the electronic-based festival taking place this upcoming Halloween weekend in Asheville, NC, has finally announced their core schedule. It’s droolworthy, but yikes, there are some tough decisions to make! The swagalicious Big Boi, or the legendary and zany Devo? Do we go dance to Caribou, or chill out and absorb the ambience of Emeralds? Catch Jónsi‘s dream-pop set, or stake out a good spot at Theivery Corporation to wait for a rare appearance from Massive Attack? It’s enough to give you an existential crisis, or at the very least, a huge headache.
The festival has very recently added the likes of Nosaj Thing, Dark Party, and several other top-notch acts, all of which can be found here (complete with artist profiles).
No doubt, Moogfest 2010 will be a weekend to remember, done in a style that only AC Entertainment can pull off (they did bring us Bonnaroo, after all). Be sure to follow the Moogfest gang on Twitter or Facebook for updates and helpful tips. Expect some One Thirty BPM coverage of this festival–coming up soon.
