Alright, she explains the track’s differing direction from last year’s mega-hit “WAP” by stating her desire to return to her Chicago drill roots: “I was young, and I liked that and everything, so my [debut] mixtape was very all about gangster violence. If it’s up, then it’s stuck, and that’s where I wanted to take it with this record.”
