The idea of Weezer covering Radiohead may be offensive to some people, but once upon a time Weezer were a great band, like, really great. In fact that time was around 1997 when Radiohead released the “Paranoid Android”-containing OK Computer, so maybe this harking back to the golden age may not be exactly what fans wanted, but it’s still enjoyable.
The band do a great job of the song, with only Rivers’ vocals being the real point where it gets a little too Weezer, but I suppose the point of doing a cover is to leave a little of yourself on it after all.
