A live album isn’t always necessarily too much of an event – a gift for fans, to be sure, but they rarely make the impact of a full-fledged LP. Antony and the Johnsons aren’t the type to simply put out any old project, however. Their new live album, Cut the World, boasts an original title track.
They didn’t stop there. This music video for the song features, in a moment of absurdly epic proportions, both Willem Dafoe and Carice van Houten, known for brutally killing Nazis in Paul Verhoeven’s Black Book, clumsily hiding from them as Tom Cruise’s wife in Valkyrie, and, of course, as the sinisterly magical Melisandre on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
We won’t spoil what actually transpires, check the video out below.
