J Mascis’ first solo album, Several Shades of Why, is now out, and if you have had the fortune of hearing it, you realized that going acoustic is something that suits Mascis perfectly. On “Not Enough,” Mascis duets with Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell for a bouncy-country saunter through the backwoods. But the video paints a different picture. Directed by Chad VanGaalen, the video combines animation and cutups for a barrage of colors and shapes. It’s as beautiful to watch as it is to hear.
