I guess the Arctic Monkeys must’ve really loved filmmakers Focus Creeps work on their video for “Don’t Sit Down Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair,” because they’ve enlisted them again. Arctic Monkeys’ new single, “The Hellcat Spangled Shalala” from their excellent third album Suck It And See has received the video treatment from Chappell and Brown. Unfortunately, it’s not all that exciting, splicing Super 8 film footage of tour shots, the boys twiddling blades of grass, and some girl dancing on the floor in stockings. It’s all very nice and retro looking, but from an album so great, I was expecting something great for an equally as brilliant song. Oh well. Enjoy.
