It’s been nearly five years since the release of The Black and White Album, but The Hives are finally ready to share what they’ve been up to. The band has since been touring, covering other artists, touring some more, and writing new material. The new record is called Lex Hives (album art above) and it will be available on June 5, but until then they are prepping a Record Store Day 7″ titled “Go Right Ahead”, a song that is now being offered to stream over at Rolling Stone. Also, if you’re going to Coachella, you can totally catch The Hives there.
