UPDATE: Radiohead have now posted this image on Dead Air Space. You can see the full list of places to pick up “The Universal Sigh” by clicking here.

When Radiohead released The King of Limbs last month, the hype-cycle would normally have ended with the release. Needless to say, this hasn’t been the case. Radiohead continues to stoke the fire ignited by The King of Limbs announcing that they’re still recording in studio and, now, launching their own newspaper in support of the album.

What? Yes. Radiohead has a newspaper.

March 28, the band will launch a newspaper, “The Universal Sigh,” to promote their album, which is released that day in Europe and the next day in North America. The paper will, so far, have a limited release in only two places in the world. Details below:

First is Greek, from here. Google translated:

“A unique offering for fans of Radiohead!

A unique opportunity to have the Greek Radiohead fans to get the newspaper created for their new album “The King Of Limbs”, as they themselves describe as the first album-newspaper has ever released! The newspaper will be distributed to the first lucky ones to be found in Metropolis (University 54), Monday, March 28, at 2:00 in the afternoon. H newspaper will be available only in this event and will not be released anywhere else! Each person can be photographed on the spot and see the picture of rising at the same time the special site set up (www.theuniversalsigh.com) and will host the photos of people from every corner of the planet where something similar happens. The purpose of Radiohead is to communicate with their fans worldwide, the day of release their new album “The King Of Limbs”, which has already been much discussed, even before the release. See you then in Metropolis, Monday, March 28, at 2:00 in the afternoon!”

and the second story can be found in Polish here. Google translated version:

“Free newspaper from Radiohead

Place this event has been accurately selected and approved by the management team. This will be the CK Brave New World, located on Nowy Swiat 63, Warsaw. Beginning at 12:00. Someone has already made 60 bucks off an advance copy of the paper, but was gracious enough to leave us photographic evidence of its reality, which you can see at the top.

The domain theuniversalsigh.com is currently locked, but we assume it will become live on Monday.
