Mello Music Group to release label compilation; listen to Open Mike Eagle’s single for the project, “Gold Gloves”

To put it plainly, Mello Music Group has steadily become one of the best labels in independent hip hop. Home to Oddisee, Open Mike Eagle, Kool Keith, Apollo Brown, Quelle Chris, Skyzoo, Mr. Lif, Joell Ortiz, and many more essential voices, the label is now putting that muscle to good use, releasing a label compilation featuring all these names, along with the rest of their proud base, Bushido.

To build hype for the project, they’ve now released a brand new Open Mike Eagle single, who’s coming in off a fantastic (if deeply trying) 2019/2020, having released Beats Per Minute’s Album of the Year, Anime, Trauma and Divorce.
