KEXP and NPR to stream Sasquatch festival


Memorial Day weekend is the big kickoff for summer music festivals. You’ve got Soundset in Minneapolis, Movement in Detroit, and Sasquatch at the Gorge in Washington. If the latter is up your alley and you can’t make it to the Pacific Northwest this weekend, NPR and Seattle’s KEXP radio station have teamed up to stream from the main stage all weekend, featuring shows from all four stages throughout the festival. With the recently reunited Death From Above 1979, the soon-to-be-on-hiatus Wolf Parade, Foo Fighters, Guided By Voices, Flaming Lips, and Wilco as some of the highlights, there’s plenty of reason to turn your attention to the 10th anniversary of Sasquatch.
