Keepaway announce debut album on Das Racist’s label

Last year Brooklyn trio Keepaway released their debut EP Baby Style; a fun blend of cut up tribal-sounding percussion and chilled out instrumentation. In a short blast via Twitter Das Racist announced that the release of their debut album Black Flute has been confirmed.

Black Flute will be released via Das Racist’s label Greedhead Music on January 10th. The album was produced by Sunny Levine, who was also at the desk for Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti’s Before Today last year.

If you’re new to Keepaway then check out “Yellow Wings” from the Baby Style EP. We’ve provided a stream for you below. And if you’re on Spotify you can hear the whole EP here.
