In spite of the (torturous) long waits between her full-length LPs, Korean singer-songwriter and general superstar IU doesn’t tend to stay dormant for long. Known for peppering fans with reasonably regular singles to keep us fed during those aforementioned waits, following the release of her fifth studio album, LILAC, earlier this year, she’s made an early return via her latest single, “Strawberry Moon”.
It’s yet another turn for the singer, with the video returning to her interests in fantasy and magic following the relatively grounded LILAC. It’s a tale of idealized romance, and one of her most overt pop efforts to date.
