Future of the Left announce new EP for November, reveal 2012 album plans

Future of the Left, the notoriously loud Welsh trio that formed from the ashes of Mclusky, have revealed plans for not one but two new releases in the coming months.

The first release will be an EP due out next month on the 14th called Polymers Are Forever. The EP should give us some kind of indication as to what the sound of the album will be since the first three songs come from the sessions that have gone into making the album. The remainder of the tracks on Polymers Are Forever “are earlier demos [they] didn’t have the time, money or inclination to re-record.”

And, as for the album, it is apparently “one day away from being finished” and is planned for an early 2012 release. The band have also revealed that it will be titled The Plot Against Common Sense.

The band recently signed to Xtra Mile who will release both the EP and LP.
