The Flaming Lips’ long-awaited science fiction movie, Christmas on Mars, will finally see a DVD release on November 11. The 86-minute film, which has been in the works for years and has achieved Chinese Democracy-like mythical status, premiered this May at the Sasquatch Music Festival.
In addition to a standard DVD release, Christmas on Mars will also be released in a special edition, packaged with a soundtrack CD featuring new, original Flaming Lips music (check the full tracklist after the jump). Both versions will include as bonus features several band interviews and making-of documentaries.
