After months of anticipation, teasing, buildup, and web-streaming, Centipede Hz (which we recently Recommended) is finally officially out in the world, but Animal Collective are still keeping fans on their toes. Last week, the group premiered a studio performance of live favorite “Crimson” on KCRW, and now, via an in-studio session with Seattle radio station KEXP, they’re offering up acoustic renditions of Centipede Hz cuts “Wide Eyed” and “Pulleys.” (Worth noting: Deakin definitely has an almost Jeff Mangum-ish vibe going on.)
