Add Bon Jovi to the growing list of musicians who are taking issue with the McCain-Palin ticket for using their music at rallies or speeches. A couple weeks back Madonna banned Palin from coming to any of her future shows, and before that, Heart were furious that they used “Barracuda” at the Republican convention. Bon Jovi told Palin to stop playing his song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” at her rallies.
The Republicans should probably stick to only using Country music, seeing as that is the only genre that seems to support them. I guess the only thing that could surprise us next would be if McCain tried using Lil Wayne as a rally song – after all, he is the maverick in the race.
