Judging purely from the title of their new album – A Sleep & A Forgetting – it seemed evident that Islands were going to take a calmer, quieter approach with their fourth album. “This Is Not A Song” adds to this theory; a slow drifting kind of tune that allows Nick Diamonds to show off his lyrical and vocal skills, backed up by some beautifully wistful guitar and piano.
