According to Green Plastic, Radiohead fans have a lot to look forward to in the near future.
During frontman Thom Yorke’s appearance on Gille Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 1, Yorke revealed that Radiohead will be tourng in 2012: “The idea is to go out and play next year on and off during the year.” Additionally, Yorke revealed that his side-project Atoms For Peace has an album on the way. The album is currently being finished off with Atoms For Peace member and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.
Green Plastic will have a recording of the Gille Peterson show up shortly which we will link to when it’s made available.
In other recent Radiohead news, the Oxford band will be playing two shows in New York and will be making an appearance on the Colbert Report next week (EDIT: and playing SNL!). Readers should also check out our brand new ‘Discussions’ piece with Radiohead as its focus.
