For the better part of this week, the official website for St. Vincent’s forthcoming album Strange Mercy has been slowly ticking away to debuting a brand new song. As more people tweeted the album’s name with hash tags, a clicker would slowly crawl across the screen, unlocking videos and ultimately ending with a free stream and download of the song.
The song is called “Surgeon” and should solidify the hype for one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
