There’s something to be said about a humbly recorded home demo that just steals my heart every time. This one comes courtesy of young Missouri singer/songwriter Katy Bowie, aka Bunny Hood. Bowie’s delicate yet powerful vocals, combined the gleam of a xylophone and ukelele rhythm, make for delightfully peaceful song. She calls it “dream surf,” and I don’t think she’s far off. Fans of Tennis, Cults, or Adelyn Rose inquire within.
