If you don’t live in Oklahoma City or Dallas, or you do and you weren’t fast enough to get your hand on this one-of-a-kind item, we’ve got a stream of the first track from the A-Side. “Is David Bowie Dying?” reminds me a lot of Coyne’s work on last year’s Dark Night of the Soul. Ambient and brooding, the guitar lick piled on top of smashing bass makes for a powerful take. I’m hardly a fan of the Flaming Lips or Neon Indian, but I can absolutely get behind this collaboration.
