More Radiohead news? You bet!
On the heels on the LP8 announcement, Radiohead’s awe-inspiring guitarist Jonny Greenwood seems to want to keep fans on cloud nine with the revelation that he will be offering original compositions for the film We Need To Talk About Kevin, a feature film based on the novel by Lionel Shriver. The film will star Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly.
Greenwood, of course, has a history of well-received scores under his belt, with There Will Be Blood and Norwegian Wood. The film, The Hollywood Reporter describes, “tells the story of a smart, educated New York mother who does her best to raise a son she never wanted. He turns out to be extremely difficult and is at the center of the woman’s marital breakdown before going on a killing spree at his high school with a crossbow.
”
Sounds fucking intense! Looks like we have a lot of Radiohead or Radiohead-y music to look forward to. Best Valentine’s Day ever?
