New Weezer “Pinkerton” book, outtakes album set for March 2011

It was just a few short months ago that Weezer’s second LP “Pinkerton” recieved an excellent Deluxe Edition re-release (that got a perfect score upon it’s review here), but Rivers isn’t done with the album just yet.

On Rivers Cuomo’s personal YouTube channel, he released a video previewing a book titled “The Pinkerton Diaries,” which by the looks of it will be a collection of Cuomo’s music sheets, doodles, scribbles, hand-written lyrics, letters and more from the Pinkerton era. He also states that the first 500 people to pre-order the diary will receive a signed poster of the book cover, which would look great in your college dorm room. Along with this, Cuomo is timing the release of his third album in his personal “Alone” series with the March release of the book, which is going to be a collection of Pinkerton outtake tracks.

To view the book and poster for yourself, check out the YouTube video below.
