Lyves is resilient and radiant on “For Eden”

Lyves is the musical persona of Francesca Bergami, a British-born Italian-Australian artist raised across Portugal, Italy, Australia and the UK. Itโ€™s been eight years since Lyves released her breakout EP Like Water, followed by a tour with Coldplay. That release featured โ€œDarkest Hourโ€ โ€“ a vocal tour-de-force that towers with the best work of Lorde and Caroline Polachek.

Now the London-based artist is back with a stellar EP entitled Out Of The Blue. The collection features โ€œFor Edenโ€, a powerful meditation on mental health. The songโ€™s delicate vocal has an underlying strength and resilience shaped by Lyvesโ€™ many years of mental health advocacy work.

โ€œThough the messages throughout this EP are profound, many of the songs feel like gentle whispers or lullabies,โ€ says Lyves. โ€œThey speak to self-worth, the magic of emotional awakening, and the journey back to oneself. At its heart, โ€˜Out of the Blueโ€™ is about rediscovering who you are and coming home to that truth. Though delicate in production, the songs carry a quiet fiercenessโ€”soft in sound but bold in spirit.โ€
