We were recently very happy to inform you about the forthcoming new album from new York duo Phantogram, entitled Voices (and to be released February 18th via Republic). They already shared a cut called “Fall in Love,” but they’ve now got a new track and video to go with it. The dramatic electro flourishes of “Black Out Days” are matched to shots of animal skulls being crushed, someone being drowned in a pale white liquid, a girl with a wolf by her side, a woman smothering her face with gold paint, an old gentleman with an owl, and lots of other odd imagery I won’t pretend I can make sense of. Watch the Evan Spencer Brace-directed video for “Black Out Days” below.
