We were quite excited when White Rabbits went on a small tour at the tail end of 2011 to premier some of their new material for their 2012 album, and we’re extremely pleased that the band have announced the release of their album so soon. Milk Famous is White Rabbits’ third album and comes out through TBD Records on March 6th.
White Rabbits’ previous two albums have both been interesting releases, straddling both catchy indie rock and the more arty side, akin to peers, fellow Texans and former tour mates Spoon. They have offered up opening track “Heavy Metal” as a free download from their website, and it seems they’ve found their most fully-realized sound to date. The band will also tour for a month and a half around North America in support of the album, starting on its day of release. Check out the dates at the bottom of the post.
