Yet another band announces its departure from the music world: LCD Soundsystem shared on their site today that they are “retiring from the game” and playing their “last show ever,” which will be at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd. As one would expect they’re going out with a bang: a 3-hour show, playing with friends and also playing some tunes they’ve never played publicly. In a quirky LCD-esque move, they’re asking fans to come dressed in either black or white, to help the band’s “funeral” be the best ever. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 11.
