About a month ago we brought you the first single from Repave, the new album from Bon Iver-including Volcano Choir. There’s now a video to go with “Byegone,” and it’s a mesmerizing clip that features just some florescent lights and a woodland setting. Directed by Michinori Saigo, the lights follow the song, illuminating the surroundings, bringing to mind Battles’ “Tonto” video. There’s an ineffable joy in the way the lights creep up the tree as the song’s guitar melody plays out. Watch it below.
