The breadcrumbs leading up to the release of Vampire Weekend’s third album Modern Vampires of the City, which is due out on May 7th, have been coming slowly but surely, but today we’ve got a big tasty one in the form of two new songs. The lead single “Diane Young” premiered today, along with the b-side “Step,” which also features on the album. Together the two songs showcase both sides of what Vampire Weekend do well, sprightly on the “Diane Young” side, and more measured and reflective on “Step.” The songs will be released as a limited edition 7″ single, but you can stream both below.
