
Last week we told you that rather than working on new Portishead material, Geoff Barrow has been hard at work on a hip-hop album which he will released under the moniker Quakers. The album is set to feature 41 tracks, so even though it’s not out until March 27th, they might as well start rolling out a couple of them now.
Our first taste of the album comes in the form of “Fitta Happier,” which features Guilty Simpson and M.E.D.. As the name suggests, it samples Radiohead, in a way. Not “Fitter Happier,” and not even an actual Radiohead recording, but rather a marching band version of “The National Anthem.” Pretty awesome. Check it out below.
