Chances are you’re still reeling off of Mesita’s last release (his XYXY EP from a couple of months back) but always the efficient and productive musician, he’s been hard at work since then. Today he dropped a new track called “Forward” which is full of plenty of optimism that might be guessed from the title. Sporting something of an R&B vibe from the get-go, it soon slips into something you might call a signature Mesita sound, full of lush tones and precise instrumentals riffs layered upon each other and working together seamlessly.
